Electronic and Computing Technology

Last Meeting: 13th May 2010

The purpose of the meeting is to discuss, in the widest possible sense, the use of technology in insect science. The talks range from the more traditional use of technology such as tracking and insect identification to the more esoteric applications of technology to insect science. These include the elucidation of the mechanisms of insect flight and its relationship to their ecology, and the role of technology in the use of molecular methods to deduce specimen identity and species boundaries.
