The Medical and Veterinary Special Interest Group exists as a forum for presentation and exchange of information and ideas on topics of relevance to its members, to enthuse, encourage and promote the study and understanding of the direct relationships of insects with humans and animals, especially livestock. The overall objective of a greater understanding of these relationships is to improve existing methods and develop new methods of reducing their detrimental impact.
